As part of our commitment to advancing knowledge and providing the most current evidence-based medical care, Tennessee Retina is involved in many multicenter national and international clinical trials to study new treatments for a variety of eye diseases.

Our patients come to us for the evaluation and treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, retinal detachments, ocular tumors, ocular trauma, inflammatory ocular conditions (uveitis), hereditary diseases of the retina, macular holes, macular pucker, epiretinal membrane, macular edema, flashes and floaters. We utilize the most advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to provide the best treatment available today for these vision-threatening diseases, including vitrectomy, scleral buckle, laser surgery, intravitreal injections (Avastin, Eylea, Lucentis, Syfovre, etc.), and other standard retina treatments.
