Lauren M. Wright, M.D.
Dr. Wright graduated summa cum laude from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and attended medical school at SUNY Upstate in Syracuse, NY. After completing residency training at the University of Texas in San Antonio, TX, she pursued a two-year vitreoretinal surgery Fellowship at Boston University in Boston, MA.
Dr. Wright has numerous peer-reviewed publications and has earned national merit for her research, including a Knights Templar Eye Foundation Grant Award for her work on intravitreal drug delivery and distinction from the American Society of Retina Specialists for top research by a surgical retina fellow. Dr. Wright is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
